Bring your child on a playful journey through a world of music from classical to reggae to rock & roll! Join us for tapping, clapping, singing, dancing, percussion instruments, bubbles and more! Suitable for children 6months – 4years.

‘A Trunk of Tricks’ - colourful string puppetry, traditional magic and stories from the mystical East. Take a chance to journey far away and back…..a chance you can never be too old for! 45 minutes of crafted entertainment.
'Lungi the Travelling Puppeteer' has been presenting his take on the ancient arts of Indian string puppets, magic and story telling all over Ireland and the UK for the last four years. Especially for this green festival, Lungi will talk through recycling and will carry out workshops on how to make your own shopping bag from old newspapers!
Adult supervision required. Suitable for children aged 5-8. Space limited to 50 Adults and children at each show, tickets at the door

Children can feast on fabulous food stories and mouth-watering tale Be transported to an imaginary land of deliciousness! Be enthralled by tales of chocolate, popcorn and marshmallows. Stories suitable for 4 years+
4pm Kids Food-Themed Colouring Competition Prize Awards
Food- themed colouring competition for children of all ages with ‘Family Pass’ prizes sponsored by Leahy’s Open Farm. Entries collected from local school children throughout the week will be on display and children will have a chance to enter on the day.
All Day Crafty Hands Ceramics in the Courtyard – FREE!
Crafty hands will provide children with an opportunity get creative with clay and make their very own replicas of the Bronze Age food vessel which will be on display.
All day Cupcake Challenge outside the Courthouse
Decorate a cupcake in a creative and colourful way, with 1000 cupcakes sponsored by Harringtons Bakery. Help us rise to the challenge of decorating 1000 in a day! Cost of €2 for each cupcake.
All day Green Bee Education Mini-Bug Hunt off the Square – FREE!
Green Bee Education, who specialise in children’s nature education, will be running a mini-bug hunt where children can learn about creepy-crawlies and make wildlife themed arts and crafts.
